Gosford City Football Club warmly invites Under 9 teams to join us for the 2026 U9 Peter Lacy Memorial Gala Day. This event is sanctioned by Central Coast Football and is open to all Central Coast and Football NSW clubs.
The U9 Peter Lacy Memorial Gala Day proudly honours the memory of Gosford City Football Club member Peter Lacy, whose passion, commitment and contribution to the club continues to be remembered and celebrated.

Team Information
Clubs may nominate as many teams as they wish. Each team may consist of a maximum of 11 players:
- 7 players on the field
- Up to 4 reserves
Divisions
- Division 1 – generally 9A & 9B teams
- Division 2 – generally 9C & 9D teams
- Division 3 – girls only teams
Depending on team nominations received, divisions may be further split into pools. All players must participate in their correct grade or higher, but not lower.
Event Format
- Round robin format
- U9 rules apply
- Teams can expect to play approximately 4–5 games
- A maximum of 36 teams is anticipated across all divisions
- Every player will receive a commemorative medallion
Facilities
Our canteen and barbeque will operate throughout the day, providing hot food, drinks and refreshments.
- No individual BBQs permitted
- No alcohol permitted
- No glass bottles permitted

Registration fee: $250 per team
Registrations close: Saturday, 21st June 2026
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first registered basis.
